On Saturday 7 April, at 5 p.m., the Hermann Geiger Cultural Foundation will inaugurate the exhibition titled Da Vinci – With Leonardo’s Machines in 560 Years of Genius, staged at its exhibition hall in Corso Matteotti 47 in Cecina, Livorno.
The exhibition is mounted and promoted by the Geiger Foundation in collaboration with the Niccolai Laboratories of Florence and curated by the Art Director of the Foundation, Alessandro Schiavetti. The public will have the opportunity to admire the faithful 3D reconstructions of the most important projects of machines conceived, planned and improved by Leonardo in his codices. A world-famous artist universally known for his pictorial masterpieces, Leonardo has also handed down to posterity a huge quantity of notes on arts and sciences which penetrate into the most varied fields of human knowledge.
