VOGUE
Vogue means fashion. Vogue means elegance. Vogue means woman.

The Hermann Geiger Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the New York archives of Condé Nast, publisher of all national editions of Vogue and many other renowned fashion magazines, from Vanity Fair to GQ, presents the exhibition Vogue. Woman and Style in the Art of Illustration, curated by Alessandro Schiavetti, Art Director of the Geiger Foundation.

The display covers 120 years of history of Vogue America through a selection of more than 60 covers of this popular magazine. Careful attention will be devoted to the graphic production until the 1940s, which numbers masterpieces by artists such as Georges Lepape, Helen Dryden, Eduardo García Benito and Salvador Dalí. The exhibition will also hint at the change in style brought about by the advent of fashion photography.
